As immortalized by Rodriguez, I often wonder about many things, random things mentioned in conversations with the minion on the school run, of absent family and friends, moments in time that have changed the course of my life’s trajectory and places longed to see.
After lunch with an old friend, browsing antique stores, stopping in to look at the exhibition, (noses pressed against the glass of the shopfront), I received a call from my doctor following up on one the myriad of tests post stroke and again I was left wondering.
How long does one really have? As I have seen only too well and on far too numerous occasions that life is as about a predictable as a two-year-old, swooning cuddles that can turn into raging carnage in the blink of an eye.
With the reality of how precarious our tenure on this rock hurtling through space is, I decided awhile ago that life is damn well meant to be lived fully and enjoyed thoroughly. Don’t just middle along, get on with it.
Here in is why I have held this Exhibition Solace, because if I wait, I may not get another chance.
Life is short, take the chance.
